InterGlobix, LLC. joins International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC)

InterGlobix attends ICPC’s 13th Plenary meeting in Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town, South Africa (July 1, 2018) - InterGlobix, Inc., the global consultancy and advisory firm focused on the convergence of data centers, subsea, and terrestrial fiber today announced that it has joined the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC), dedicated to the sharing of information for the common interest of all seabed users.

InterGlobix has joined ICPC as an Associate Member. InterGlobix’s President, Vinay Nagpal attended the 60th Diamond Jubilee ICPOC Plenary Meeting in Cape Town, South Africa from 10-12 April 2018 on the theme: Where Oceans Meet Cables — A global voice for the submarine cable community.

The International Cable Protection Committee was formed in 1958 and its primary goal is to promote the safeguarding of international submarine cables against man-made and natural hazards. The organization provides a forum for the exchange of technical, legal and environmental information about submarine cables and, with more than 180 members from over 60 nations, including cable operators, owners, manufacturers, industry service providers, as well as governments, it is the World’s premier submarine cable organization.
