EdgeConneX Expands Hello World Partnership to Bring AI Literacy and STEM Curriculum to More Than 100,000 Students by Early 2027
EdgeConneX has announced an expanded partnership with Hello World to significantly broaden access to AI literacy, STEM education, and digital infrastructure curriculum across the United States. Building on the program's success in Bastrop County, Texas, the initiative aims to reach more than 100,000 students by early 2027 while helping prepare the next generation of talent for careers in the digital economy.
EdgeConneX®, a pioneer in global Build-to-Suit and Build-to-Density data center solutions, has expanded its collaboration with Hello World, an Austin-based curriculum and teacher training organization, to deliver immersive AI literacy, STEM, and digital infrastructure education to students across additional U.S. communities./p>
The partnership builds upon a successful program already implemented across Bastrop County, Texas, where nearly 15,000 students in four independent school districts and 36 schools have gained access to experiential learning programs focused on artificial intelligence, computer science, and digital infrastructure. Through long-term funding commitments, EdgeConneX is supporting Hello World's curriculum across Bastrop ISD, Elgin ISD, McDade ISD, and Smithville ISD through the 2030 school year.
The expanded initiative will extend to additional school districts throughout Texas and other EdgeConneX markets. In Texas alone, the company's sponsorship now makes the curriculum available to nearly 50,000 students, representing half of its ambitious goal of reaching more than 100,000 students annually by early 2027. The organizations are also developing dedicated educational modules focused specifically on data centers and digital infrastructure to expose students to emerging career opportunities within the industry.
Beyond classroom learning, the initiative reflects EdgeConneX's broader commitment to workforce development and community investment. The company continues to support a range of educational programs across Bastrop County, including teacher grants, STEM festivals, workforce training facilities, and youth leadership initiatives designed to strengthen local communities while building long-term talent pipelines for the digital infrastructure sector.
Commenting on the initiative, Phillip Marangella, Chief Marketing Officer at EdgeConneX, noted that the success of the Bastrop County program has established a strong foundation for expanding AI literacy and workforce readiness initiatives across additional U.S. communities. The partnership reflects EdgeConneX's long-term commitment to investing in education while helping develop the skilled workforce needed to support the continued growth of AI, cloud, and digital infrastructure.
